What have you all been up to? Once again, I’ve been overwhelmed with work so haven’t been able to post on the blog at all I’m sorry! I”ve started insta stories though if you want to check them out I post when I make my granola for example so you can see it in the making or the different meals I eat when I remember (: as well as all my snacks I eat along the day haha I don’t know what’s up with me lately but snacking has become my number one thing I can’t stop eating snacks all the time! These vary from dried fruits, fresh fruits, nuts and granola I’m just addicted.
Thought I would post a nice and healthy lunch here for you guys. It’s full of good nutrients. Quinoa is a good source of protein, fiber, iron and magnesium which is also found in the chicken along with vitamins A, E, D, B6, and B12. I actually think I’m B12 defficient, I kind of stopped eating meat lately. I’m not becoming a vegetarian I just don’t feel tempted at the moment so relying mostly on chicken and eggs but not eating that everyday either…
I’ve also been feeling a bit bloated lately after I eat some things so thought keeping a food diary would be a good thing to start? Then I could write down how foods make me feel and try to replace those that bloat me too much (I know some bloat you naturally but some bloat you become you can’t tolerate them as well) as they hurt my tummy. So thought it would be a good thing to start as well as check what kind of vitamins I lack in my diet and upgrade that!
It’s important to get all your vitamins and nutrients in a day, it’s what helps your body function well and develop. Even when we stop growing our cells are continuously reproducing and it’s also good to take care of your body to fight against ageing!
Do you have a check on your vitamins and nutrients intake?
Try to listen to your body and see if anything feels different. Your body will tell you what you need and it’s best if you can treat it the natural way before it becomes too severe!
Love, Jen xx
