Fashion Friday!: Ripped jeans fancy?

Hi everyone!

Hope you all had a good week (: What are your plans for the weekend? Unfortunately for me it’s one of those weekends where I have to look at the beautiful weather from my window! I have so much work to do for my classes next week with a lot of projects that I want to get a start on so I’m going to have to stay inside, and on top of that I’m also a bit sick so staying in with a good cup of tea is all I can do .

For today’s post, thought I would share a look that I really fancy at the moment. It’s pairing a pair of ripped jeans with items that make it look more fancy. Those ripped jeans are the most comfortable pants I own along with a simple pair of black jeans. They are stretchy so they fit no matter how much you eat and they don’t leave a mark on your waist. The rip used to be a lot smaller! But you know, ripped jeans, especially around the knee change with time as you sit, stretch and wash them. They still look pretty cool though I think! I used to think they were grey, but now I feel like they look a bit blue-ish?

I paired it with this top that my sister bought a little while ago and when I tried it on, wore it a few times, I just went to the store to get the same one! It’s great having a sister to share your closet with as I moved back home, but the days where she wears what you had in mind or that she goes away for the weekend and packs things that you like drives you crazy! So now if I really like it I buy the same one, considering I wore hers 4 times in two weeks. It also has a little high neck colar which I think looks very fancy lately.

My usual shoes from Dries Van Noten, they are starting to get really torn down and marks are forming on the side as I don’t walk properly and bang my feet together all the time… But they are so pretty and look really fancy whether it’s a pair of ripped jeans or a cute little dress, they fit with everything and the little platform elongates your legs a little bit which of course I love!

Paired it with a few jewellery as well, all golden themed, to bring an extra touch to the outfit and finally my bag that looks a lot more expensive than it was!

Pants: Bought in Taiwan

Top: &OtherStories

Shoes: Dries Van Noten

Bag: H&M

Jewellery: I can’t recall, sorry!

Wish you all a great weekend!

Love, Jen xx
