This semester is quite challenging, who knew that being a senior at uni was so exhausting? Handling social life, uni life and handle work on the side while trying to find a job for once I graduate is quite time consuming. So sorry for not being able to post all the time although I really want to!
I even go out of my house some days without even thinking for hours about what I’m wearing before hand! You may not see this as shocking but if you knew me you definitely would! I usually dress up even if it’s to go grocery shopping right next door!
What I always tell my best friends back in Paris is “Le style avant tout” – “Style before anything else”. Let’s be honest, you never know when or where you are going to meet the love of your life and I personally want to make a good impression on him (;
Truthfully, I don’t just dress up because I like giving a good image to others, I think dressing up in a way that makes you feel good about yourself is key to being productive and successful in life. If you don’t like your own image, you don’t want to go out of your house as much to conquer the world. You feel less powerful and end up not chasing after your dreams. I like walking out of my house with a smile on my face, ready to face this new day and feeling good about what I look like. How you feel about yourself reflects out of you to others when they look at you. If you feel shy and not comfortable in what you are wearing, people around you will see that instead of seeing your potential and what an amazing person you might actually be!
Do you ever feel like your outfit or your whole lifestyle changes the way you feel when you walk out of the door?
Like a lot of my outfits, you may have noticed, I enjoy mixing between casual and chic. This blazer is from last Spring collection of Dries Van Noten, It’s quite light yet stops the wind from giving you chills. I just paired it with a simple white short sleeve shirt and a pair of black jeans. Just because I’m in a sneaker mood lately, and I just love those new sneakers from Zara I can’t stop wearing them all the time I thought they fit well to the outfit!
Blazer: Dries Van Noten
(yes I went a bit zara crazy lately on a shopping spree!)
Bracelet: my sister bought it for me in Mykonos it’s superstitious
