It’s been a while since my last post, my internship has been taking up all of my time… I have posted a few pictures on my Instagram from my internship so you can check that out (https://www.instagram.com/lifeinstylewithjen/)!
For a little comeback I baked a tart yesterday so thought I might as well share it with you because it was really yummy! Plum tarts is not my first to go to recipe when I think of tarts and I don’t know why this was so good that I nearly want to bake a new one today!
160g of flour
100g of butter
100g of marzipan
(sugar to sweeten the plums)
Mix the butter and marzipan together in a bowl, add a tablespoon of water and gradually add the flour. Use a dented tart form and lay out the tart evenly. Put in the oven for 10-15 min on 200ºC while you slice the plums. Lay out the slices around the tart, drizzle sugar on top to sweeten them and so that they don’t dry out in the oven and pop in the oven on 175ºC for 20-30 min until the tart looks golden brown.
Let it cool for a bit and enjoy! It’s kind of healthy but you could add whip cream to make ti even better ; )
Let me know if you try it and what you think!
Love, Jen xx
